Wet-pour or tile?
Wet-pour is mixed and trowelled on site. It produces a completely seamless surface that can follow curves, ramps and irregular shapes, and it takes inlaid colour graphics — play grids, logos, lane markings — laid into the surface rather than painted on top.
Tiles are faster, need no curing time on site and are easy to patch or lift. Where access is tight or the programme is short, tiles usually win.
- Curved or irregular areas — wet-pour
- Inlaid logos and play graphics — wet-pour
- Tight programme or restricted access — tile
- Areas that may need patching later — tile
